Ms. Chau joined GPSL as an associate in Summer 2007. Her areas of practice include commercial litigation and insurance coverage.  Prior to joining GPSL, Ms. Chau’s practice included commercial litigation, employment litigation, toxic torts, and professional liability.  Ms. Chau is a registered patent attorney, and has worked in the biotechnology field as a research associate for a gene therapy company.

Ms. Chau earned her Bachelor’s degree in Integrative Biology at U.C. Berkeley in 1997.  In 2002 Ms. Chau received her Juris Doctor degree from University of California , Los Angeles , where she was an editor of the UCLA Intellectual Property Journal and a Los Angeles County Bar Scholarship recipient.  Away from work she enjoys reading, sports, and food.
