Jeff has served as counsel for a wide range of firms ranging from early stage startups to Fortune 100 publicly traded companies for more than 30 years.  For the last 18 years he has focused on transactional law, although he gained his early experience as a commercial litigator.  Jeff joined Greenan, Peffer, Sallander & Lally as Strategic Counsel in January 2007.  Previously, Jeff was a partner in the Corporate Securities/ Mergers and Acquisitions Group at the multi-national law firm, Reed Smith.  Before that he served as the Chair of the Business Group at Carroll, Burdick and McDonough during his seven years there.

Having led many successful transactions for public companies, he now seeks to represent only private companies who have the need for in-depth, experienced, strategic assistance in developing company structure, mergers and acquisitions and succession strategies or competitive strategies to compete in the market place.  Jeff’s experience negotiating and executing acquisitions, financing and complex entity structures for real estate development and investment companies, emerging growth companies and life safety and security companies makes him a valuable resource for companies seeking growth and change.

Jeff has broad interests outside of law.  He is an active angel investor in start up companies and invests broadly in real estate.  He and his wife Allison share interests in many sports and travel widely.  Allison and his three children, Sasha, Jessica and Lucas are the center of the universe.
