Ray Peffer has an undergraduate degree in economics from the University of California-San Diego and obtained his law degree in 1983 from Hastings College of the Law at the University of California. While attending law school Ray also served as an extern in the Banking and Taxation Division of California Attorney General's Office in San Francisco. Prior to co-founding Greenan, Peffer, Sallander & Lally, Ray was managing partner and head of the transactional departments of two Contra Costa County law firms. Ray specializes in the areas of corporate and securities law, taxation law, venture capital financing, franchise law, complex real estate acquisitions and financings and administrative law matters. He also represents a number of securities and futures industry professionals in administrative and regulatory matters before the Securities and Exchange Commission, The National Association of Securities Dealers, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the National Futures Association.
